![]() You would also create a data field of ‘Day of Week’ which can be a number (0-6 is corresponding to Sunday-Saturday). If you wanted to adapt it so that when a person creates an event such as ‘Drive to Doctor’ that needs to occur at 3PM every Saturday, you might find the template to provide more functionality than what you need.įrom my understanding of what you’ll need to do is create a data type for users to create ‘Events’ and on that data type you can put a title and description as data fields, both text. A user creates a schedule of availability for different days of the week, and then creates an event type and during that will either assign an availability for that event, or create a custom availability for that event. The template currently functions in this way. I think core differences that exist are that when a user creates an event, it shouldn’t be an open item that can be added to their calendar at any time, but set at the specific time or recurring time they indicate I need a drive at 3pm on Saturday, not for a volunteer to select a drive ‘type’ event at a time of their choosing.ĭo you think that adaptation is something it would make sense to try in the template or not, given the depth of the change? I think core differences that exist are that when a user creates an event, it shouldn’t be an open item that can be added to their calendar at any time, but set at the specific time or recurring time they indicate. Before I get too deep in seeing if ScheduleMe would work, I wanted to ask whether you thought it would make sense to try it given core differences, or if it would be better to try from scratch. I think ScheduleMe has most of the base layout and the same thesis for functionality - a user (patient) makes events on a page that can be seen by other users (volunteers) and they can sign up for those events. A drive to the hospital, bringing over dinner, baby-sitting, etc. I’m working on a project that would allow cancer patients who need to schedule and keep track of people who want to volunteer for events that would help them. ![]() Heya – wanted to send a quick Q your way before going too far down the rabbit hole. ![]()

Raspberry vanilla fudge recipe4/23/2024 ![]() ![]() Not the cheap, imitation vanilla flavoring. Vanilla – Use a really good, high-quality vanilla extract for the best taste. We used the 14-ounce “Eagle Brand” sweetened condensed milk for this recipe. ![]() Sweetened Condensed Milk – Not to be confused with evaporated milk.Since the bag sizes seem to always be changing, it is best to measure out the chocolate chips rather than pouring the whole bag indirectly. Chocolate Baking Chips – We used Ghirardelli white chocolate baking chips for this recipe and they were perfect.Make vanilla fudge in minutes that are perfect for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, or just as a fun, quick treat! Ingredients in Vanilla Fudge You will get perfect fudge every time just by using a few simple ingredients and a microwave. I used raspberry sherbet, but you can also use fruit sorbet as a substitute. This is the easiest vanilla fudge recipe ever! You don’t have to stress about getting the perfect “softball stage” and no candy thermometer is needed. This dessert is called “raspberry ice cream delight,” but it would be equally delicious using another fruit like strawberries. If I’m going to be serving this cake at a later time, I wrap the whole thing well to prevent freezer burn. Let it sit for a few minutes to soften, or run your knife under warm water first. If you’ve lined your pan with foil, it’s easy to pull out the whole cake and slice.Next, sprinkle with a layer of raspberries, then top it all off with a layer of whipped topping and garnish with those reserved cookie crumbs. If you want to up the chocolate factor, use chocolate ice cream instead! I used vanilla ice cream, but there are no hard and fast rules here. It needs to be soft enough to spread, but not soupy. I popped the fudge crust in the freezer to cool and pulled out my ice cream and sherbet to soften in the meantime. You might need to warm the fudge in order for it to spread over the crust. Just be sure you’re using hot fudge topping and not chocolate syrup. I used a jar of hot fudge, but you could also use homemade. To make serving easy, first, line your pan with foil or parchment. Reserve some of the crumbs for garnishing the top of the dessert. I used a food processor to crush the cookies and it couldn’t be quicker. This dessert starts with an Oreo crust.2 cups frozen raspberries, thawed and drained.1 cup raspberry sherbet, softened (half a pint).3 cups vanilla ice cream, softened (half a 1.5-quart tub).Ingredients you will need for raspberry ice cream delight: It’s super simple to make, and I’ve included all my tips to make it even easier. Let’s take a look at this dessert layer by layer. The chocolate with the sweet-tart raspberries, plus the creamy vanilla ice cream…all I can say is that you must try it! Plus, I can make this dessert way in advance of any party or gathering and just pull it out of the freezer when I need a sweet treat! The flavors in this dessert are amazing. You guys, I love this raspberry ice cream delight so much! It’s my new favorite no-bake summer dessert! Usually, my vanilla pudding cream cheese Oreo cake is my go-to dessert, but this one ups the cool factor (literally) with vanilla ice cream and raspberry sherbet. It’s hard to decide between this and a Peanut Butter Ice Cream Sandwich Cake for a birthday! This Raspberry Ice Cream Delight is a cold slice of heaven on a hot summer’s day! This ice cream cake features layers vanilla ice cream swirled with raspberries, hot fudge and whipped cream on an Oreo cookie crust and can be put together in a snap! ![]()

The dash poem text4/23/2024 ![]() ![]() They would have to turn his hero Palliser into a patriarchal oppressor and his beloved wife Lady Glencora into a proto-feminist shrew, wiser than her husband in all things, when it is clear that each of Trollope’s superbly drawn characters can see things that the other does not see, partly enabled and partly hindered by their sex. It has struck us quite forcefully that Trollope’s even-handedness with the important political issues of his time would not go over well with writers, actors, and directors today. ![]() You’ll not be surprised to hear that my wife and I have been watching the excellent Palliser series the BBC put together some fifty years ago, based on the novels by Anthony Trollope. He is not a slobbering old grafter, a narcissistic blowhard, a scolding fraud, a self-satisfied sloganeer, an ambitious twit, or a political weathervane for every passing breeze he is not any of the things that can win the attention of people in the United States right now. He sees right through cant and charlatanism, and he engages in none of it himself. He’s intelligent, honorable, scrupulous, thrifty with the people’s money, morally upright, steady, calm, and boring. He proves that even a Whig can possess all the virtues I look for in a head of state. It will be on the Republican ticket, and the Duke is a Whig, I know. I am thinking of writing in my preferred candidate for president: Plantagenet Palliser, Duke of Omnium and Gatherum. ![]() The New Hampshire primary will be here in less than two weeks. ![]()

Cervical spine fracture x rays4/23/2024 ![]() ![]() Any fracture extending into the foramina transversarium from C2 to C6 should be evaluated for the possibility of co-occurring vertebral artery injury. ![]() Unilateral facet fractures are controversial, but many are highly unstable or can lead to progressive deformity and warrant surgical evaluation. There are also three-column fractures extending through the anterior vertebral body all the way through to the posterior ligaments, and these are highly unstable. Of note, C7 burst fractures carry a higher risk of developing kyphotic deformity that other levels of the subaxial cervical spine. Teardrop fractures occur with flexion or flexion-extension of the cervical spine leading to an anterior–inferior fracture of the vertebral body. Burst fractures are a variant of compression fractures that result in retropulsion of the vertebral body into the cervical canal. Compression fractures result in loss of anterior vertebral body height without canal compromise and neural injury. Subaxial cervical spine fractures follow similar patterns at each level. Type II fractures at risk for nonunion should be considered for odontoid screw placement or posterior C1 to C2 fusion. All fractures of the C1 to C2 complex are considered unstable and should be treated initially with a hard cervical collar, and then evaluated by a spine surgeon. Risk factors for nonunion include 5mm or more of displacement, greater than 10 degrees of angulation, or age older than 50. Type II fractures without risk of nonunion can be considered for hard cervical collar or halo. Type I and III fractures should be treated in a rigid cervical collar or halo. Type I is avulsion of the tip of the dens, type II is a fracture through the base of the dens, and type III is a fracture extending into the C2 vertebral body. Associated disruption of the C2 to C3 disc with a Hangman fracture requires surgical fixation. Fracture through the C2 dens can be classified as type I, II, or III. If the fracture is displaced greater than 3mm or with greater than 11 degrees of angulation, reduction with halo placement or surgical fixation should be considered. Hangman fracture with less than 3mm of displacement and no significant angulation may be treated in a hard cervical collar. If the fracture extends bilaterally through the pars interarticularis, a Hangman fracture is described. Ĭ2 fractures can result in a fracture through the body, dens, or pars. If the TAL is disrupted C1 to C2 posterior fusion should be considered. C1 fractures may be managed in a rigid cervical collar or halo if the transverse alar ligament (TAL) remains intact on MRI. Neurological injury rarely results from an isolated C1 fracture due to abundant space surrounding the spinal cord. Fractures of C1 occur through the lateral mass or arch in single or multiple places (multiple arch fractures, Jefferson fracture). Injuries to C1 and C2 compose approximately 30% of cervical spine fractures. A SLICS score of 1 to 3 is nonsurgical, a score of 4 is not specified, and a score of 5 or greater is a surgical indication. Scoring systems in dealing with cervical spinal cord injury that includes ligamentous, bony and neurologic injury exist, a common one is called SLICS (Subaxial Cervical Spine Injury Classification System), and this can be used to help with evaluation and guidance of surgical or nonsurgical management. Further evaluation of ligamentous structures of the spinal cord with MRI is important for determining spinal stability and in planning surgical treatment. Computed tomography is the preferred imaging in acute spine trauma as it is more sensitive for detection of bony cervical spine injury when compared to plain radiographs (sensitivity of 98% versus 52%). Indications for cervical spine imaging include localized neck pain, deformity, edema, altered mental status, head injury, or neurological deficit. ![]()

Access control allow origin header axios4/22/2024 ![]() ![]() "Origin, X-Requested-With, Content-Type, Accept"Īpp.listen(port, () => console.log(`Listening on port $`)) Res.setHeader("Access-Control-Allow-Origin", "") ![]() Add Access Control Allow Origin headers const express = require("express") Ĭonst port = _PORT || 8000 The server sends a response with the header Access-Control-Allow-Origin. Let's say we have an origin up on that serves up this resource on /api endpoint. We expect to see the string Hello passed by origin A in the browser console of origin B. We are going to call with this endpoint by creating a client on origin B and then use fetch to request the resource. We are going to build a server on origin A which will send a string of Hellos to an api endpoint. You can check out this code on my GitHub repo. Access-Control-Allow-Origin : : Allow requests only from.Access-Control-Allow-Origin : * : Allows any origin.Just remember: the origin responsible for serving resources will need to set this header. So who has the ultimate ability to prevent this malicious website from stealing your data from the bank? The bank! So, the bank will need to protect its resources by setting the Access-Control-Allow-Origin header as part of the response. The website attempts to make a connection to your bank in the background maliciously. To understand who needs to set this header, consider this scenario: You are browsing a website that is used to view and listen to songs. Who needs to set Access-Control-Allow-Origin? This tells the browser what origins are allowed to receive requests from this server. There are a few headers that allow sharing of resources across origins, but the main one is Access-Control-Allow-Origin. With the help of CORS, browsers allow origins to share resources amongst each other. Here is an example from Mozilla Developer Network that explains this really well: In order to allow origin A to access your resources, your origin B will need to let the browser know that it is okay for me to get resources from your origin. ![]()

If there's even a prompt for where to install the boot loader, it's ignored in EFI mode. Regardless, I appreciate that you took the time to respond and I apologize for being snippy.I've just created a similar configuration on my Mac Mini (OS X Mavericks and Windows 7 on internal SSD, Ubuntu on external drive). If the Ubuntu installer runs in EFI mode, it will install GRUB 2 to the ESP. Not sure about Steam, or whether those versions run on Steam in linux. I'm not necessarily saying that was your intention, just that it reads that way. The forum trend of person A asking "I have setup X, how do I do Y?" and person B responding with "X is bad, you should have setup Z" while not addressing the actual question of how to do Y is super annoying. Telling me to nuke my setup to solve a boot order issue is not really trying to help answer the original question. Why so negative to someone trying to help? If you are having trouble getting your install to work, let me know and I'll see if I can dig anything up. It's also worth noting that this machine is a frankenstein between a MD831LL/A and what was originally a MC976LL/A with a dead 650M so your mileage may vary. If you’re looking for a way to try MacOS on a PC, Boot Camp is a great place to start. Is it possible to install Ubuntu on Mac using bootcamp. I would like to know more about the following. Am now planning to install the OS using bootcamp in Mac. Its only 2 days that am using Ubuntu, am quite impresses with the OS features. A dual-boot system is one in which your Mac OS is installed on one partition, and your Windows is installed on another. Am currently running Ubuntu 11.10 on Mac using Parallels. This answer installs Ubuntu on your computer without the use of third parity tools for either the installation of booting of Ubuntu. In case whatever guide you follow for your machine does not list it (11,1/Saucy does not, for example, but I believe I ended up using something from there since is in the repository list on the machine I downloaded the drivers with), you may also need this repository to get some stuff working: If you have an Intel-based Mac computer, Boot Camp Assistant can install Windows 7 on it as well. I had to install the wireless driver and all of its dependencies manually by downloading them on another computer and moving them over with a flash drive because neither wireless nor my (Thunderbolt) wired adaptor worked out of the box because whatever version I originally installed did not come with compatible drivers. I will note that once I did get it installed, I had quite the time getting any network drivers working. ![]() Again, not really sure how I did it or why I did it that way. TBH, I would probably just use this guide instead of trying to abuse the Bootcamp install if I were to do it again. ![]() In particular, this guide is the one that says it works for the 10,1. I do think that I used some information from here: and here. It was a few years ago so I'm not exactly sure how I did it although I vaguely remember installing Windows and then replacing Windows with Ubuntu. Please describe how to install Ubuntu using Boot Camp. ![]()
